ABOUT SYDNEY FRENCHO

Hi, I’m Sydney Frencho- a film editor and photographer based in Los Angeles.

 

I graduated from Point Park University with a BFA in Film Production, concentrating in editing, and a minor in photography. While in school, I interned with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, where I filmed and edited behind-the-scenes video content, captured live performances, and worked closely with their marketing team to help bring the music to life visually. I also apprenticed with the Film and Animation Department at Point Park University, assisting professors with daily tasks at the front desk and editing promotional materials for the School of Film and Animation.

Editing is where I feel most at home-finding rhythm, emotion, and meaning in the cut. I’m experienced in Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, Lightroom Classic, After Effects, Photoshop, and ProTools.

I’ve also been freelancing as a photographer for over seven years, focusing on portraits, movement, and storytelling through both digital and analog formats. My work often brings a personal, handmade feel rooted in experimentation.

Now in LA, I’m excited to keep growing and connecting with others who love telling stories.
